Fantastic food. Anita's has this warm welcoming feeling to it that I can't quite describe. I sincerely live Anita's kitchen and the amazing staff that works there !
I had not been to Anita's Kitchen for a while it was in the area and thought I would try it. I need to come back again and again the food was very good. I had the chicken kebab dinner. The chicken kebab was cooked perfectly with the slight amount of char on an outside edge which added to the taste The hummus was very good. The pita bread was steamed. Good portion of rice. Good salad. My guests had the soup and sandwich with the lemon lentil soup and the chicken breast and a pita sandwich. They enjoyed their meal I thought the soup could use a little more lemon but still tasted good overall a very good experience and both of us agreed that we would return
We were sat quickly. Food was good and delicious. Server was very nice and responsive, though she did not introduce herself. A food item had to be corrected.
Pretty much traditional Lebanese fair. If you've tried it, you can hardly go wrong. If you can look over the menu before hand, it's a good idea. Also the staff can make recommendations. My favorite is a kale salad with chicken! Service can be spotty in terms of speed, but the food and the knowledge staff offset that. The entryway is too small and traffic at the door is annoying. Some seating is cramped. I'd overlook all the cons and try it.
My first time eating here. After day at the Detroit Museum of Art we came here for dinner. Excellent food and service! The best hummus Ive ever had. And so grateful that they have many gluten free choices.
