The fruity pebbles donuts are a treat and the toasted coconut are the best! Great coffee too!
We were looking for staples of Detroit food while visiting. After looking up reviews, we chose the Apple Fritter Donut Shop. It's this small little donut shop tucked into a shopping strip, next to a place called "Tha Head Shop" which we thought funny. A donut shop that was tucked in by vape shops. When you walk in the donut shop, there was a small counter with stools and like three tables. That's how you know the donuts are going to be amazing! A baker's dozen of the specialty donuts and regular ones mixed cost us $16. It was worth it!
Feels like a "neighborhood donut shop" - don't be fooled by the name, they have all sorts of different donuts. Everything was fresh and delicious. I couldn't believe the variety of flavors they had. Do not hesitate to visit!
The best donuts, hands down, in the state of Michigan! I grab a bakers dozen at least 3-4 times a week for our office to take in. I highly recommend the french toast crueler as well as the butter cream. Honestly, there isnt a bad choice on the wall. Give these guys a try and youll never stop anywhere else, I guarantee it!
This place is incredible! They have a very large selection of donuts that lasts beyond just the early morning. Ofcourse they have a unique selection of fritters with various fruits, toppings, and glazes that you won't find at any other donut shops. These are extremely high quality donuts. The fritters have a very fluffy and moist interior with a nice crunch on the outside. Despite the name of this place, I think the cake donuts are even better than the fritters! They have borderline perfect texture and lots of good toppings/flavors to choose from. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. If you're a donut lover anywhere close this place, do yourself a favor and make a visit!
