Java Hutt is a jewel in downtown ferndale. The perfect cozy cafe to hang out at or get some work done. Java provides great coffee and snacks, and always has friendly service. Theres plenty of space to find a quiet corner or comfy couch. I've never felt the crush of a crowd, or that it was super noisy like some popular cafes can become. If you havent already visited, go here and spend some time with friends.
Great indie coffee shop great place for good times. The weirdos that frequent this place make it interesting.
I've been coming here for a bit over a year and have consistently enjoyed my time here! Cozy atmosphere (though there's limited spacing for parties of 3+), reasonable prices with a large selection of coffee/tea/blended drinks/sandwiches/wraps/baked goods/etc. The sandwiches are substantial and tasty. Today Nikia helped me, and they were very courteous, pleasant to talk to, and promptly helped me with my order (which turned out terrific!) I'd definitely recommend coming here for a cozy little coffee shop with house made drinks and food.
My favorite coffee shop, in my humble opinion if you would like to get a Feeling of the people of Ferndale and the diversity there in while engaging in a delightful coffee experience, look no further. Wonderful!
Great local coffee hangout. Coffee is always good. Seating is plentiful. The only thing Id change is the front entrance situation. The door doesnt close properly and it ices up and stays open a bit keeping the front of the location quite cold. If they added a little inner vestibule it would be a much nicer environment. Other than that its a great place and my go to coffee shop in downtown.
