The staff really try and pair you with a coffee that fits your palate. The results are great! You can even watch them roast your beans before purchase!

Great place filled with mostly locals and collage students but it's a great place to go if your planing on visting Detroit I had a awesome time here. The owner is an amazing guy who's philosophy is that you shouldn't ruin coffee by adding milk and sugar to it (he hides it in the back of the store) coffee can be as exquisite and unique as wine if you treat it as such. Not at all like Starbucks which is the more color and sugar it has the better. You want a true coffee experience? Go to chazzano!
Small independent roaster. The staff are friendly and attentive. I usually come here with my husband (the cortado drinker) and our infant daughter. (They have a changing table in the restroom! ) I like to get a latte and its always good.
