The best place in the area for a men's haircut and shave. Period. No students here that just came out of beauty school. I've had my hair cut by 5 different barbers here and I've always loved the results. Nook early, because this place fills up quick.
This review is based on both my first and second visit to this establishment. Our initial encounter AND haircut was subpar to say the least, (warranting a 1-star), BUT after speaking with the owner, we decided to come back to rectify that experience. We set up an appointment this time with a different barber, AUSTIN T. and LET ME TELL YOU, I'm beyond thrilled that I met such a wonderful soul and talented barber. Not only was AUSTIN exceptionally thorough and patient with my son's haircut, but he was very personable and delightful to speak with. He made sure to guarantee his client was comfortable, while maintaining complete focus on the task at hand. I felt so relieved to have met this barber, that I have no doubt in my mind that I would schedule another appointment at this shop for HIM.Now, the man running the front desk, JUSTIN, was also so exquisite that I had to call back to ensure I had the correct name because he definitely deserves just as much credit. He assisted with the process by helping to ensure everything went smoothly, and kept us engaged in conversation. I heard he is a barber as well, so I would EASILY book him for a cut in the future based on his professional demeanor. JUSTIN AND AUSTIN T. not only instilled such faith in me for this establishment, but left me certain I will be returning in the future FOR THEIR EXCEPTIONAL WORK. Big thanks to the BOTH of you - and you'll come highly recommended by me.
It's been a long time since I've been to a proper barber in this took me back to my childhood. When I left, I had a great haircut and that smell of liniments and tingling on my skin that I've missed since I was a kid. I was able to walk-in but they do have a great online scheduling system with all their barbers. I left I look better than I have in years after a haircut and a beard trim.
I have been going here and seeing Derek as myBarber for quite a while. I am very picky and have only had a handful of people ever cut my hair. It quickly went from me telling him how I like my hair cut to me showing up and him telling me what looks best and now we talk about life and work instead since I now am fully confident each time that he will do an amazing job without me having to say anything. His work is closer to art than a normal hair cut. I trust Derek and the staff to make sure I look my best and they always over deliver! The atmosphere is amazing. The in house madeProduct line is amazing and I have never seen anyone leave without A smile. I highly Recommend this place!
Gone there 4 times and I've always *wanted* to like them but never got there. I'm sure some of their barbers are great and whatnot, but certainly nobody who has cut my hair. If I'm paying high end barber prices, at the very least I expect to be listened to about the haircut I want. I come in with 3-5 pics and a spiel about my hair. The first time, the barber flat out dissented and said, "that's not gonna work, I'm gonna do what I think looks good." I've been getting the same haircut for 5 years man. I have a pretty good idea of what's doable and realistic and what isn't. The second barber, who I think is a nice guy, was constantly talking down to himself out loud as he's giving me the cut. He's never been consistent and it's always a different cut, even after my in depth explanation. Another barber who doesn't listen... I even showed him pictures of the last haircut he gave me and he proceeded to give me a completely different haircut. It hurts me to say this because I love their vibe and their people generally, but I've never been satisfied leaving here.
